REAL WEDDING: { ALLAN & JOED } MANILA

--
It's amazing. sometimes scary, how time flies. Gray hairs, weak knees, and more vitamins on the breakfast table, heck even Miss Saigon is already on its 25th year! - these are the realities of life. Good thing that despite all that, one thing surely grows well with age - friendship (the celebration of which is usually best paired with good wine & cheese).
-
Two years since their wedding, Joed and I have done so many things together like helping plan & oversee pioneering events, travelled, planned for bigger things to come. She has, after all, joined the wedding industry already as an event planner under her own brand. Allan has practically saved our fledgling blog/website from complete oblivion once, and for that we are forever indebted to him. It's funny how a client-supplier relationship can eventually dissolve and become something more enduring - it makes working in a dog-eat-dog industry like weddings all the more bearable.
-
Two years has passed and yet Joed & Allan's wedding seemed like it only happened yesterday! Working on a non-traditional palette has definitely worked well for them - there's classic & quirky in good measure, grays and blacks with sudden bursts of colour, Allan's Mohawk hairdo and Joed's tats. And who could forget that crazy, crazy (did we say it was crazy?) Louboutin shoes - spiky mad and kick-ass crazy! Not many Grooms can pull off such a pair, much more an outfit to match. We guess all that made this wedding iconic - it was personal in every possible way, not dictated by trends, and designed to be memorable and fun for all the guests. If only all weddings are done this way, we won't be seeing any more of those cookie-cutter events in the next years to come.
-
Allan And Joed, thank you so much for letting us take part in your beautiful memories, both for your trendsetting prenup shoot and your wedding, Here's to a hundred years of love & life for you both! ^_^
