{ BRIDE AND BREAKFAST } GARDEN SOIREE

--
Early last year, Janna of Bride and Breakfast, the Philippines' leading wedding inspirations blog, sounded off an idea to us about hosting a gathering of wedding suppliers. Truth be told, large gatherings of wedding suppliers have been quite far in between and the one who's been most successful at it is K. by Cunanan Catering, which hosts an annual event for past clients & suppliers alike as a way of thanksgiving. Besides, this was to be Bride and Breakfast's first major social event, and expectations already ran high as soon as the beautiful invites came out. Putting all of this together has not been easy. Since this was held in September, we also had a typhoon the day before to contend with. Then again, who says that can stop Filipino wedding suppliers from partying? We've all been through really bad times here in Manila and in the provinces the past few years, what with the weather getting worse every time, and this event makes the gathering all the more poignant because we really needed this once-in-a-lifetime break.

And the event was a smashing hit, and how! Guests came from as far as Davao, Cagayan de Oro, and Cebu and it was just wonderful finally meeting the fantastic people behind some of the great brands from those cities. ^_^ We're just so glad, too, that this was held at The Mango Farm which allowed us to highlight the beauty of our home venue. The Tropical Luxe theme was just perfect and complemented the Farm's overall ambiance.

Vatel Manila is proud to have worked with Bride and Breakfast on some of its firsts: we did their first-ever editorial, and now this Garden SoirĂ©e. Thank you, Janna, for trusting us! ^_^ We were also delighted to meet new friends & work with old ones. More than the flowers, decor, cakes and food, this event was a product of the creative team's love for Bride and Breakfast & the Philippine wedding industry. We hope to see this event continued so Philippine wedding suppliers can come together more often, and foster stronger ties with each other. At the end of the day, this will benefit our couples more by having wedding suppliers who work well with each other. ^_^

Again, albeit belatedly, congratulations to Bride and Breakfast and to the whole Garden Soiree team, for pulling off this awesome event! To all those who attended, thank you all so much! All the best, and more power! ^_^
