REAL WEDDING: { ELBERT & LORRA } MAKATI

--
You just don't notice it, but Summer is almost upon us. It may be freezing in the mornings, but if you look around your yard, you will notice the growing cracks on the soil: sure signs of dry months ahead. But for Elbert & Lorra, they only have exciting times ahead of them. After their wedding in May 2013, there's the task of building a home while juggling work and DIY projects in between. Sure it sounds like an awful lot, but really, the 'building a home' part alone already takes so much of one's time - because it does takes time. Home, after all, "...is where the heart can laugh without shyness, where the heart's tears can dry at their own pace." (Vernon Baker). Even their wedding rings were engraved with the word 'Home', "for us to always remember that we are each other's refuge," explains Lorra. Her love for DIY & illustration and Elbert's love for comics & craft make them a perfect pair - a true collaboration between artists!

We're happy to finally share with you, dear readers, Elbert & Lorra's sunny & warm wedding. The couple designed several of their details (that invitation suite was the bomb!) which made this event all the more a joy to shoot. Kudos to Nez Cruz & Zoombox for capturing this wedding splendidly!

To Elber and Lorra, a line from journalist, Ellie Rodriquez: "The light is what guides you home, the warmth is what keeps you there." Thank you so much again, and all the best! ^_^
