EDITORIAL: { UNDERSTATED ELEGANCE }

Image
--  Last October, we had the chance to work on the flowers & set design for the Third Wave Photography Workshop held at the beautiful The Henry Hotel Manila. The event was organized by our dear friend, Jaja, of Jaja Samaniego Photography. Through this workshop, we also officially launched our return to event styling as Blue Trumpet PH, albeit limited to specific venues only.  -  Because Jaja has always been a fan of the simple & subtle, the theme given to us was 'Understated Elegance', which pretty much was the direction Jaja's brand relaunch was going for. It's something we at Vatel Manila x Blue Trumpet PH greatly share with Jaja, this love for all things elegant & beautiful. And with that, allow us to share with you these stunning photos from the editorial. ^_^  --  SUPPLIERS_//  Venue_ The Henry Hotel Manila  Set Design_ Blue Trumpet PH  Wardrobe Stylist_ Aira Franco Hair x Makeup_ Gery Penaso Custom Gowns_ Von Lazaro Gowns_ Teena Sabrina Tan Tuxedo_ Bo…

It was only after seeing the photos did I fully realize the reason for the flower choices - they were to mimic corals! How wonderful! And the colors just popped out against the wonderful green gowns - love love love! - Bride Mariel was a vision in her Pronovias gown, and Groom Andre, dapper & smart. Everything was just elegant and well thought of - all beautifully photographed by ace Cebuano photographer, Marlon Capuyan. Don't miss their SDE by Noel Samson at the end of this post.  - Thank you so much, Andre & Mariel, for making us a part of your team! You will always be reme…
