By the time Bride Maria uttered that line, we were already in tears (well, we were in tears as soon as Groom Oliver started crying). But how can one not cry over such a heart-felt moment?

For a tropical country, we rarely see tropical-themed weddings around here and Oliver & Maria's intimate affair in beautiful Boracay is definitely something worth checking out. First off, we're in love with the pineapple leitmotif, the use of local fans, & the tropical postcard set! Nothing really sets the tone than when using proper symbols and images. It also helped that Bride Maria wanted a different approach to her theme, which is why we made a non-traditional Astilbe bouquet for her, and a mix of various leaves for the entourage. So picture perfect! Without pushing the thematic envelope too far, the entourage ladies wore really soft chiffon gowns, perfect for the laid-back venue that is the Shangri-la Boracay. Do pore over these warm, lovely photos and be inspired! ^_^
