It's a beautiful day to get wed. This is the first wedding for 2008 for both Vatel Manila and The Mango Farm and what a blast had it been. This is actually an affirmation of a relationship that began twenty five years ago and the Torreses and their lovely kids are blessed to be formally united by their church on this very day.

The officiating minister was no other than Bro. Eddie Villanueva (who rose to our consciousness when he ran for President in 2004) but is actually a very influential and higly respected minister within his community both here and abroad. Here he is seen with the groom, Sir Mac, and the principal sponsors.

Ma'am Marie was beaming like a 20-year-old bride when she joined her groom at the altar.

It was a most joyous occassion for the couple and for everyone present.

A special request from the couple. Methinks we should put up this sign more often because it can be very tiring to pick up cigarette butts in the grass every morning despite the presence of huge trash cans. Sigh.

The couple receive their final blessing.

Thank you, Father, for a wonderful start to 2008. To Sir Mac and Ma'am Marie, more happy days together and forever. Just like their last name (which means "towers" in both Spanish and Portuguese), may they tower over all adversities and triumph over all problems and challenges that may come their way. Mabuhay at maraming salamat po!
